Pricing
Seven dollars a person. Four while we're early.
One price for everyone who needs a login — every module, every team size. No tiers, no volume deals, nothing to negotiate.
Early access: $4per person / month
Billed monthly
Early access: $38per person / year
Billed once a year
Agents don't need seats — they log under a person's account, and client portal visitors are free.
| Team | Monthly | Annual |
|---|---|---|
| 1 person | $4 | $38 |
| 5 people | $20 | $192 |
| 20 people | $80 | $768 |
| 40 people | $160 | $1,536 |
Team totals below are at the early-access rate. Annual is billed once, at the start of the year.
Shyre exists because of a renewal notice.
One person, tracking their own time, was moved to $168 a year for the plan plus an estimated $72 for what the account had been used for. The usage was projects and tasks. Nothing about the work had changed.
On your next renewal date, your account will be transitioned to an Enterprise plan with Flex usage billing. You will be automatically billed $168.00 for your Enterprise plan, and an estimated $72.00 based on your account usage in the last 365 days. With Flex billing, account usage costs are calculated based on your activity in each period using fixed price tiers per resource (projects, tasks, and more).
The vendor's name and the renewal date are the only things removed. The rest is the notice as it arrived.
Read the second number again: it is an estimate. The plan has a price and the bill has a different one, and what separates them is how much work you did. Projects, tasks, clients, invoices — the things that exist because the year went well. A good year bills like a penalty.
Shyre counts one thing, and you already know it: how many people need a login. Add a customer, a project, an invoice, a proposal, a release, a client portal — the bill does not move. Leave your coding agents running for a thousand hours and the bill does not move. There is no second meter on your bill, and nothing is estimated at renewal.
What one person pays for a year, billed annually
PlanUsage, estimatedShyre, one person
The estimated usage alone — $72, the part nobody quoted — costs more than a full year of Shyre at the standard price, billed annually.
Shyre at the standard price, not the early-access one. A comparison that stops being true when early access ends is not worth drawing.
Seats are a meter too
We are not going to pretend otherwise. Hire someone and the bill goes up by one rate, at every team size. The difference is that you move it, you move it on purpose, and the number is on this page before you do.
One price, and the entire system.
Every module is on for every account, from the first person: time, invoicing, proposals, sign-off, reports, the client portal, the API and the hooks kit. No minimum, no add-on, nothing to buy later. Not generously included at your level — there is no level. Seats times one rate is the whole price function, an account carries no plan or entitlement to set, and no payment anywhere turns a feature on.
Between two current members of your team, what differs is their role and the visibility settings you choose. That is access control — you configure it, and it is not for sale.
Included, for everyone
- Unlimited agent-logged time — we never charge per hour your agents work
- Free client portal seats for the people you work for
- CSV export of your time, customers, projects, invoices and expenses
- Two-factor authentication, 12-hour sessions you can end from any device, role-scoped rate visibility, and a full audit trail
- The API and the Claude Code hooks kit
At either end
On your own?
One person is one seat, at the same rate — every module, including invoicing, proposals and sign-off. Nothing is held back for bigger teams.
Larger than that?
Custom retention, audit exports, a signed agreement, and an invoice instead of a card.
Talk to usWhat "early access" means
Accounts are opened by hand while we're early — which is how we keep the abuse surface at zero and how you get a real conversation instead of a signup form. The standard price is $7 per person. Accounts opened now stay at $4, and we'll tell you well before that ever changes.
Why there is no free tier
There has never been one. An account nobody has met is an unmetered surface for anyone who wants to cause trouble, and that is why this page ends in a form rather than a signup button — every account is opened by a person, which is a better control than any rate limiter.
What a free tier usually stands in for is a way to find out whether something fits before you commit. Early access is that: tell us what you work on, and if it is a fit you get the whole product — every module, at the early-access rate, with no trial period to run out and nothing switched off.
There is no configuration of seats or plans under which a team pays less by describing itself differently.
Shyre is in early access and accounts are set up by hand. Tell us what you work on and we'll be in touch.
